Well. Anyone who knows me and my fandoms knew this was bound to happen someday. I always knew I wanted to have Chapel dressed up as Sherlock, and as I added Rupert I remembered that the Sherlock fandom on tumblr refers to John Watson as a hedgehog – so it seemed fitting that Rupert should wear a tiny sweater that looks like Watson’s from the program. For those of you who haven’t seen it, BBC Sherlock is a really amazing series! There are only 6 episodes, but each one is 90 minutes and is essentially a small movie, so it’s all good. Also, the phone Chapel’s holding plays an integral part in the first episode of Sherlock, which is called “A Study in Pink.”

Anyway, I had wayyyyy too much fun drawing Chapel in her Sherlock cosplay. I regret nothing!

Moriarty = MASHY SPIKE PLATE = Portal 2 = Time to play!

I came here BECAUSE panel four was the ad. I was SURE it had to be amazing, and it was.

On the topic of BBC Sherlock, I'm torrenting the 3rd season as soon as it comes out in the UK. I'm not waiting half a year for it to reach the US!

maybe it's time i let you in on something that is awesome. Yandere trance goes with ANYTHING. it is not gory nor x-rated. Yandere trance goes with Touhou, Vladimir Putin, transformers (the robots), your parents, minecraft (the PC game), any anime you dare to name, and any thing else you can think of, even maybe YOURSELF!

Okay, basically, "magical girls" is a genre in anime and manga that tends to feature young girls with magical powers and floofy costumes. They often also have animal sidekicks. This all got started because of the commentator "Kyubey." Kyubey is a character in a magical girl anime called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. In this anime, the character Kyubey tries to convert people into magical girls. That's how this all got started! Hope that helps!

Also, if you remember my Halloween strip, Chapel dressed up as a character called Cardcaptor Sakura. That's the main character of a famous magical girl anime, so if you look at that strip you can get an idea of what magical girls look like usually.

It's called Caitlin + Kira. It's not up on the web yet but I'll let you guys know when it is. I won't give too much away, but I will say that Kira is a cat. Oh, and it's not realistic. AT ALL.

As much as I love "The great detective" I absolutely hate with a passion the new series.... why? Because it's made Sherlock "cool" He was already a popular detective now he's moreso. Why can't we get awesome new versions of other classic series? Where's the new high budget Anne of Green Gables film? Why don't they remake Seven little Australians? What about a new Arsen Lupin? how about we make a new series based on some OTHER old story. Sherlock has been remade and released dozens of times already, enough, please! (Also I don't like the new series being contemporyly set. I liked the Victorian setting!)

I'm just a sourpuss. I don't know why I don't like the new Sherlock. Probably it's because I hate contemporay reboots (like the war of the worlds film adaptations, Journey to the Centre of the Earth and other films of that nature)
I just realised that it could be more fun if we all decided that Sherlock and Moriarty are Time Lords... that'd be entertaining!
