While this comic can really apply to any period drama, it’s specifically referencing Bridgerton, the very popular recent Netflix period drama. It’s been a big trend online for teenagers to wear Bridgerton-inspired fashion, and I know Chapel would definitely be on board with that (except she wouldn’t wear corsets, like some people, because the show takes place in the Regency period when that was out of fashion).
