Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you the cover for the brand-new Chapel Chronicles paperback book! The text will be slightly different on the final print version, but other than that, this is how the new book will look. This volume contains all of seasons 1-4, as well as bonus material and special comics. If you live on the East Coast, come pick up this book when I debut it at MoCCA Fest, a fantastic small-press comics convention on April 5 & 6 at the Lexington Avenue Armory in NYC! I’ll even do an original Chapel doodle on the inside, just for you.

CHAPEL CHRONICLES IS AWESOME!!For Emma T. Capps:How did you create Chapel?
If you click on the "About" page, you can read more about Chapel's creation! As a brief overview: I first drew the character at age 11, and started the comic officially at age 14 (three years ago now). And, as they say, the rest is history!

Dear Emma, I'm from Chile and I'm 29 years old. I find your comics very inspiring, because at your age, kids from my country don't even think in creating such a beautiful and innocent stories. I found your comic through another page (I think that was or another one) and I become quite a fan of your work. I read your entire work again and I can see an evolution of your art and storylines. I'm amused of how you capt a kid's impressions of the world and how a family can truly be "harmonious". I'm a psychologist and I work with vulnerable teenagers and their families, so your comic is a beacon of hope to me, a proof that humanity can still be good and caring.

Keep up the good work, dear Emma, you are gonna be an excelent adult if you keep that child escence

With utmost gratitude

PD: srry my english, I'm at the edge of the world hahahahaa

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I'm sure there are kids in your country who would create something like Chapel if they were given the chance -- I'm lucky to have had many opportunities and people supporting me along the way. I'm really happy that you've read through my work and have seen the evolution. The fact that you (a psychologist) would describe my comic as a "beacon of hope" is an incredible compliment and one I'm overjoyed to receive! Thank you so much. If you'd like, feel free to click the "contact me" button at the bottom of the page and send me an email -- I'd love to send you a copy of my Chapel collection book.

this looks rather nice! Oh! BTW, Miss Emma, Are you getting mud slides with all the heavy rain where you are at now?
Dr. Taxil Necrobane 2/28/14
No, we've been okay so far. It's not even raining at this precise moment -- just damp outside.
 Emma  2/28/14
well, i hope you're not in a slide danger zone.
