Happy Valentine’s Day from The Chapel Chronicles! I believe that Valentine’s Day is about honoring ALL kinds of love, and spending time with your family members and friends as well as boyfriends or girlfriends. In that spirit, I wanted to create a strip that honors Chapel and Barnaby’s biggest supporters: their parents! Feel free to click the button above and send this comic as a Valentine’s e-card to your own parents and let them know how much they mean to you.

In other news, yesterday was my birthday – I’m 17 now! Since I started doing Chapel after having just turned 14, it’s a little bizarre to be so old now. Both myself and my comics have grown so much in just three years, and I have you Chapel readers to thank for it! Sending big hugs and (virtual) V-day chocolate your way.
Awww, what good kids!I love Chapel's apron.

Thank you, that was one of my favorite things in this comic to draw.

Happy V-day yourself!

i spent my valentine's day snowed in. so spending hours outside in cold, shoveling snow till i got blisters on my hands though the gloves and sore mussels. well, it wasn't a great day. getting 2 and 1/2 foot of snow is a big deal here.

Love this. I see your parents didn't get the chocolates, but did you at least share one with Rupert?
Hope it was a warm and lovely day for you and you family.

This isn't autobiographical! I don't have a Rupert or a brother. I did have a nice day, though.

You should update your About page! It's been two years, reading by age (there you say you're 15). Has anything changed? Curious minds want to know!
Yes, I've been meaning to update it for a while. Thanks for the reminder!

Urm, kids, the box is supposed to be Full! when you give it.

Here's hoping your day went sweetly.
It was...let's just assume Chapel's parents ate it all up.
 Emma  2/16/14
They both look adorable!
