Since Chapel got Rupert when Barnaby was away at college, I like the idea of Barnaby and Rupert having secret bonding moments, like I’ve shown before in “Hedgie Night Fever.” I also wanted to have an “elephant in the room” in the last panel, where Barnaby is clearly using Chapel’s girly little-kid bike but neither of them comment on it.

I’ve planned the layout of all the rooms in the Smith family home, and I like to slowly reveal how they all connect to each other! Here, you can see how the main hallway connects to the dining room and then leads out to the driveway, which I haven’t shown before. I hope you guys enjoy finding all the little connections in Chapel’s world as much as I like revealing them!
I spot a yellow submarine poster! :D I love the Beatles.

Good eye! I love them, too.

Is "The Godfather" a real tv show?

Her house is a fangirl's all-around dream :)

True, it is!

I can understand Movie posters in Chapel's and Barnaby's rooms, but in the rest of the house? Even more so near the (i presume) the front door. Miss Emma, is chapel's parents big movie fans?

As to the bike, i don't seem to remember Chapel having one before. Even so, that bike is way to small for Barnaby! I guess he's that desperate for ANY sort of ride of his own if he's willing to bum Chapel's bike.
Dr. Taxil Necrobane 6/1/13
The movie posters are in the rest of the house, and they are the parents' doing for the most part -- this will be explained in more detail later!

And she's always had a bike, it's just not been brought up before. And yes, he really IS desperate...
 Emma  6/8/13
I love the yellow submarine Beatles poster. :)
Novelist-In-Training 5/31/13
Yay, I'm so glad you like it! It was fun to draw!
 Emma  5/31/13
Yes, Hedgie Night Fever was one of my favorites as well as this! I hardly ever see Barnaby showing any attachment to Rupert, so this is an interesting turn of events... I can just imagine them becoming best friends!! :)
Simply Me 5/31/13
I'm so glad you like it! As we've seen from how he interacts with Chapel, Barnaby is a very affectionate person, so it makes sense he'd like Rupert.
 Emma  5/31/13
Chapel better be careful, Barnaby might lure Rupert away from her. I know many family pets have their prefured family member.
Dr. Taxil Necrobane 6/1/13
Don't you dare hurt Rupert Barnbaby!!!
Viv 5/31/13
Ha ha, he won't! Rupert would probably enjoy it.
 Emma  5/31/13
Haha... Cute and funny
Miss L.S.P 5/31/13
Exactly. (^-^)
Viv 5/31/13
Yay, I'm so glad!
 Emma  5/31/13
