I recently drew a holiday card for my family featuring cats. I AM RIDICULOUSLY OBSESSED WITH CATS. I hope my parents will pick up the hint. If they don't I might have to resort to the Chapel method... I WILL NOT SPOIL IT FOR ANY NEW READERS!!!!
i'm sort of a docter doolittle to,and i'l have any pet i can get my hands on. at the moment,i have two adult ducks, two ducklings, three chickens,a dog,a cat,and two guinea pigs.
I have a pound dog. She is a mix of a black lab, whippit, and beagle (maybe a bit of others). she is the sweetest and loving dog i have ever known. my entire family is allergic to her, but cope and love her anyway. We picked her up a few minuets before she was about to be put down. Her name is Lucky. Why? She is lucky to be alive today. that is how she got her name. she's been with us for 12 years now and she's still going.
Best. Comment. EVER. (I'm actually currently trying to teach myself millinery basics, I have a collection of vintage hats, and I run barefoot, so there you go).
Millinery is a tiny hobby of mine, though most of my skill is limited to a hot glue gun, paint, and supplies from the craft store.
As for the running, you probably have a better chance than I do as we avoid Daleks, Cybermen, and Weeping Angels (though we may not want to necessarily run from those) because I have a constant habit of wearing heeled boots. That's not to say I cannot run in them. I've even won tag and hide-and-go-seek multiple times in them, yet they do provide some trouble over alien terrain.
Then you have more skill than I do at wearing shoes with heels (I fall over within 20 seconds)! But I'm generally an abysmally slow runner over long distances, so you never know.
Yep. I ended up being the only girl wearing flats at my 8th grade graduation, which made it even more obvious once we sat down that my feet didn't touch the floor.
you know that story you illustrated for "working for sparkle"? do what the girl did...or you could convince your older brother if you have one. :D :D :D jk
Emma, does your family know that some cats, like Himalayans, are hypoallergenic? That means that people with allergies MAY not have an allergic reaction to them.
i have one to long grass and bee stings. when i got stung by a bee, it was in between my big toe and the toe next to it. it started swelling up! have you ever been stung by a bee?

The League of Fonts
THE LEAGUE OF FONTS is where typefaces are born. Every time a font is created in the world, it manifests as a living, breathing, Font – human for all intents and purposes, but unable to age or die unless their typeface falls into disuse. They live together on the League of Fonts, which serves as a secret island hub, bustling corporation, and home. It’s a world full of its own internal intrigues like any office, and Times New Roman is its powerful CEO. He’s got a lot on his plate lately: planning the League’s famous Decennial party, struggling with modern technology, and hiding his embarrassing addiction to the Twilight movies. Times New Roman is confident he can keep everything under control…but what’s an old font to do when a young boy named Louis Pepping accidentally stumbles onto the secrets of the League?
Find out every Wednesday!
(Happily pets the head of her shelter dog, Zeeba)
1. An appreciation for millinery
2. An epic hat
and
3. A brilliant brain
(May some times need a sharpie for tally marks, the ability to count shadows, and shoes you can run in)
